Reunião Diálogo Social Europeu

Junto vos deixamos o convite endereçado com alguns dos objectivos da reunião:

EASE and UNI Europa Sport, which recognised each other in 2008 as representatives for respectively employers and employees, established their informal social dialogue for the sport and active leisure sector in 2003.

Following their mutual recognition, they requested the European Commission to facilitate their social dialogue and establish the official European Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for the sport and active leisure sector, including the sub-sectors not-for-profit sport, professional sport and active leisure (fitness and outdoors).

The active participation of EASE and UNI Europa Sport to such a committee will allow them to be involved in the consultation process and negotiation process as defined in the Lisbon Treaty.

Since the end of the CC-project (2008-2009), the social partners have worked on filling out the European Commission questionnaire on representativeness, a task they have now completed.

This is supplemented by the IMPACT project (2010-2011), which concentrates on the capacity building on the employer side.

With those completions, nothing will stand in the way of the start of the test phase of the European Sectoral Social Dialogue Committee for the sport and active leisure sector in 2012!

Take the opportunity to get involved in European social dialogue in sports and activeleisure as promoted in the Communication on Sport of the European Commission: join us at the IMPACT project Informal Social Dialogue Meeting!
